Tri-City Education Foundation

The Tri-City Education Foundation is a not for profit corporation formed to provide financial support for the Tri-City Schools through funds raised by tax deductible contributions. The Foundation is governed by an eight-member Board comprised of community volunteers. They are independent of, but work with, the Tri-City Board of Education and Administration to maximize educational opportunities for our students.

Funds received by the Foundation are used to fund grants which will increase academic achievement, provide educational equipment, and support special projects. Foundation funds supplement, enhance and enrich existing educational programs. Funds may also be used to support innovative academic units designed to increase student achievement.

The Tri-City Education Foundation has been approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)3 not for profit corporation. This "tax-exempt " status allows citizens to make tax-deductible contributions directly to the Foundation. The Foundation has funded $40,000 worth of support for the Tri-City Schools in its first three years of existence.
