Ryan Pfeiffer, Andrew Ryan, Zack Mouser, Nathan Kieszling, Josh Highley, and Carson Thomas attended the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis on October 21. They toured the National Agriculture Career Show and attended the Sixth Session of the National Convention.
The Tri-City FFA placed second in the Section 14 Horse Judging Contest. Bradley Morrison was the seventh place individual and Ryan Pfeiffer was tenth. The contest was held September 15 at Rawlings Arena near Delevan, IL. Members placed ring of horses shown by halter, under saddle, and a horsemanship class. Other team members were Kody Pasch, Ally Hunt, J.D. Moore, Zack Mouser, and Andrew Ryan.
The Tri-City FFA Placed fourth in the Section 14 Land Use Contest. Haley Daniels was the sixth place individual and Ally Hunt placed ninth. The members identified the physical characteristics of soil profiles and made recommendations for both agricultural and construction use of the soil. The event was hosted by Williamsville on October 6. Other members attending were: Kody pasch, Andrew Ryan, JD Moore, Zack Mouser, Bradley Morrison, Rebekah Hurley, TJ Prythrech, Luke Henebry, Nathan Kieszling , Josh Highley, and Carson Thomas.
Lauren Henebry, Tori Bruno, Ryan Pfeiffer, and Luke Henebry attended the Section 14 Leadership Training School at Lincoln on October 3. The Leadership Training School was presided over by State FFA Treasurer Clayton Carley. Chapter Officers attended sessions on the duties and responsibilities. New members attended sessions that were designed to be both informational and motivational.c
